VPS & dedicated servers

Servers sized for the job, and looked after.

Virtual machines when you need isolation and control, bare metal when you need the whole machine. Specified with you, provisioned hardened, and managed from that point on.

Virtual servers

KVM virtual machines with genuinely allocated CPU and memory, full root access, your choice of Linux distribution, private networking between your own machines, and snapshots before anything risky.

Right when you want isolation from other workloads and the freedom to install whatever you like, without paying for an entire machine.

Dedicated servers

The whole machine, specified around the workload rather than picked off a list — CPU, memory, disk layout and network to suit what you are actually running.

Right for sustained heavy load, large datasets, virtualisation of your own, or anything with a requirement that single tenancy is the simplest way to satisfy.

Managed, not just rented

Handing you root is where most providers stop.

Unless you ask us not to, every server we supply is set up and maintained by us rather than dropped on you with a password and a welcome email.

Hardened at provision

SSH keys only, no password authentication, a default-deny firewall, unattended security updates and fail2ban configured before it ever carries traffic.

Patched on a schedule

Operating system and package updates applied regularly, with reboots planned around you rather than sprung on you.

Backed up off the box

Nightly backups to storage on separate infrastructure, with restores tested rather than assumed.

Monitored externally

Availability, disk, memory, load and service health checked from outside the machine, alerting somewhere that is not the machine.

Configured for the workload

Web server, database, runtime and cache tuned to what you are running instead of left on distribution defaults.

Someone to call

When something breaks at an awkward hour, you reach the people who built it and have the access to fix it.

Not sure what you need?

Tell us the workload rather than the spec. We will work out what it takes to run it properly and tell you if that is less than you expected.
